hitch giveaway

It's been awhile since I've done a giveaway! I'm excited to share with you guys a recently released Cooperative Press book called Hitch. This book contains 29 (!) knitting patterns inspired by Alfred Hitchcock films. Now, I'm not going to pretend that I know much about Alfred Hitchcock films, which I do not, but I do know my knitting patterns and this one's a good one. If I have it correctly, there are 27 wonderful designers featured in this collection. That means there is something for everyone. My friend, Stephannie Tallent, is a member of the line up and she never disappoints. Here are a couple of my favorites from the book:

hitch1
Stolen Jewels, Stephannie Tallent

hitch2
Thornhill Cowl, Stephannie Tallent

hitch4
San Juan Bautista Shawl, Elizabeth Green Musselman

hitch7
Kentley, Heather Ordover

hitch6
Annie Pullover, Christina Werge

hitch3
But, my favorite out of the entire book is Stephannie's Exakta Hat. It's really wearable for both men and women (perfect for gift giving), and it comes with multiple choices for the interior panel of the cables, so it's very customizable. I just love it!

I don't want to sound like a sales pitch, but at $16.95 for the entire e-book of 29 patterns, that's a steal! 10 of them are sweater patterns alone. I really like this collection and highly recommend it.

Cooperative Press is offering one winner a e-book copy of this fabulous collection. Please leave one comment below by the end of November 10th, 2013, and I will randomly select a winner come Monday. Also, check out the rest of the stops on the blog tour there maybe more chances to win.

I like stolen jewels and the thornhill cowl too. I also love all the Hitch movies so these patterns are a great nod and reminder of them.

My 13th birthday fell on Friday the 13th and it happened to be Alfred Hitchcock's 100th birthday. I had a sleepover with a marathon of Hitchcock movies on in the background - love the idea of knits inspired from these classics.

I do love a good cabled hat...and sweaters (as long as they go up to my size - which is rare). And God knows I need more books.
