Lizbert

Mujercita

&

Pica

Congratulations! Please contact me at yarnonthehouse@gmail.com to collect your prizes.

I just love quick knits! They're satisfying and when they're as cute as this week's giveaway there's just nothing better - especially right before the holidays when I'm working on so many last minute gifts! And, who doesn't love a wonderful new yarn to go along with the terrific pattern?!

Let me introduce the Belle Ascot pattern...

This stunning and very functional neck wrap is designed by the very talented Carrie Bostick Hoge exclusively for the sensational Quince & Co. yarn line.

I just fell in love with the lace stitch pattern on the ends of this darling ascot.

And, oh my goodness! The Chickadee fingering weight yarn it is knit up in is marvelous!

And, at $5.75 per skein (which, by the way, this pattern requires only ONE skein of) I think I'm in love!

No, really! Love is even putting it lightly! Chickadee and all of their current yarns come in an impressive palette of so many delectable colors to choose from that it is very likely my new favorite solid colored wool yarn to go to.

Plus, I just absolutely love their company story! All their yarn is sourced and spun in the US. I, as an American consumer, truly appreciate that and am happy to see such luscious yarn come from the states!

Quince & Co. is sponsoring this week's giveaway with THREE fantastic skeins of Chickadee. Three followers have the chance to win a PDF copy of the beautiful Belle Ascot pattern and a skein of Chickadee in one of the colors below:

Thank you so much, Quince & Co. for sponsoring this week's giveaway! Come back to visit us very soon!

I would like you to do the following if you would like to be entered into this week's giveaway:

1. Read over the rules if you have not done so already.

2. Leave a comment on this blog post by the end of Sunday, 12/19/10. Have you tried Quince & Co. yarn yet? If so, what did you think?

I'll randomly pick the winners on Sunday and post the results on Monday along with the new giveaway, so be sure to check back. Good luck everyone.

Sincerely,

Ve

Quince & Co IS lovely indeed! I've only knitted with their Lark yarns so far, but it was a pleasure to work with & I just love the results!

I am a HUUUUUGE fan of Quince & Co. Yarn. Right now, I am about 10 rows away from completing my 8th FO with Quince, which is a hat I came up with using Chickadee in the Dogwood colorway. The yarn is absolutely SUBLIME to work with! The colors are amazing and gorgeous and I have never had any issues with switching to a new skein in the same color. I've spent a bunch of time in Portland at their flagship retailer KnitWit fondling and drooling and putting different colorways together to make great combinations. I HIGHLY recommend Quince to anyone who hasn't tried it out yet.

I haven't tried any Quince & Co. yarn yet - I'm in another part of the world, so some yarns are a bit difficult (end expensive) to come by. But I've heard nothing but good and I look forward to trying out some loveliness some day.
