giveaway #76

The winners of the Coastal Knits giveaway are:

TopHat & txtaurus

Congratulations! Please contact me at yarnonthehouse@gmail.com to collect your prizes.

I have some sad news to report today... your prizes for this giveaway are stuck in the Christmas mail abyss! And, to top things off, I'm sick. I've come down with a cold and I have no brain power to put together anything fun to replace this Monday's spot. I could have done a mystery giveaway, posted past unclaimed prizes, or something else much more creative, but you'll have to forgive me and allow me a small grace period for this bi-weekly post. I think I need to go wrap up a box of chocolates for my postman instead. Maybe he'll like me more that way and deliver your yarn faster. See you in a couple days with all your goodies in hand… hopefully.

Sincerely,

Ve

Feel better soon! Hope it doesn't linger - I've just got over a 3-weeker and it was miserable. Not a fun time of year to be feeling unwell!

A warm blanket, a cup of tea, and then a little nap. Hope you feel better soon.

Feel better! We are a patient bunch who probably bought way too much yarn this holiday season, anyway!

I hope you feel better soon. Have your favorite drink and get plenty of rest. Maybe after holidays, the mail will get better. We can hope.

Please don't even think about giveaways--just get well. I know it can be very hard to rest during the holidays--but leap out of character completely and be selfish. Take care, sleep, lots of liquids, zinc, vitamins, nice warm soup.

Two years ago, for reasons still unknown except that exhaustion might have played a starring role, I came down with a rare and debilitating illness right before Christmas. It turned out to be one of the best holidays I had ever had. I got to spend some lovely alone time with my pets, my husband represented us when necessary, and the festivities all occurred without my lifting a finger. What I thought would be a tragedy turned out to be fun--once I got a prescription and some painkiller!

Please take care of yourself.

Hope you feel better soon. I came down with something like that last week, still rather congested, but feeling better now, thankfully in time for Christmas.

Oh no - feel better soon! Nothing worse then being ill around the holidays. Peppermint tea does wonders, no matter what ails you, promise.
