giveaway #79

The winners of the Westknits & Skein giveaway are:

rockbridge & lisaknits

Congratulations! Please contact me at yarnonthehouse@gmail.com to collect your prizes.

I can't believe another year has just flown by! Wednesday will mark my 2 year blogiversary. I've thoroughly enjoyed these past 12 months. It brought us some wonderful new designers, yarn companies, and indie dyers along with some of our favorite repeat guests. I have plans to bring you another great year filled with lots of yummy yarn, fresh new knitting patterns and lots of love. Keeping with tradition... I have some leftover prizes that were unclaimed to give away.

Some of this:

GA65madtosh

And, something similar to this:

bbryarn

I have a total of 3 prizes this time around for 3 lucky followers. Here's how it's going to work... I will pick one winner from each of the following groups:

1) A comment will be chosen at random (as usual).

2) A member of our Ravelry YOTH Group will be chosen, so if you haven't joined yet, now's the time!

3) And, finally a public follower of the blog will be chosen, so make sure to sign up for that as well to get 3 chances at winning.

Don't forget to tell all your knitting friends about YOTH! The more the merrier. Here's to another fantastic year. Cheers!

I would like you to do the following if you would like to be entered into this week's giveaway:

1. Read over the rules if you have not done so already.

2. Leave a comment on this blog post by the end of Sunday, 2/12/12. What would you like to see on the blog? Or, what was your favorite giveaway this past year? I'd love to know what you like the best. Also, don't forget to join the Rav YOTH group and become a public follower on the left hand side of the blog for two extra chances at winning some lovely yarn.

I'll randomly pick the winners in 2 weeks and post the results along with the new giveaway, so be sure to check back. Good luck everyone.

Sincerely,

Ve

I don't know that I would change anything. I like the variety... Always yarn (as your title states) but books, patterns and the interviews/information that help me learn more about the resources I can tap into are also appreciated. ^_^
I am drooling over the red Macintoch batch in the first photo.... oh mercy!! ^_^

Happy blog birthday! I came upon this blog by accident, and have really loved reading it. I couldn't sign up for public follower, so oh well!

Oh, those look delicious, and I'm pretty sure I'm already entered the other two ways!

Hi there! My favorite giveaway was the Madtosh Tart giveaway -- and now I have another chance to win!

I would love to see more about how you choose your projects -- do you pick patterns based on yarns, or vice versa?

Thank you!

So very pretty... Pick me!

Yarn is always appreciated! Reading the blog keeps me informed about what patterns and yarns are available. Of course my favorite giveaway is one where I am the winner!

Happy blog Bday!!!! Tart tosh is awesome!!! How come it's unclaimed?? I enjoy the interviews a lot, because it's hard to get to know people that are into this passion of ours where I live!

I am new to reading your blog, so I can't really say what has been my fave giveaway. I will say that I like the name of your blog and the design and colors on your home page. I have been enjoying reading your blog and your model, Jane, is beautiful.

The blog is absolutely amazing. I kind of still can't believe that you're able to do this just about every week. I do like it when you feature indie dyers and designers and I would love to see more breed specific yarns and yarns from smaller farms. Thanks for keeping the blog.

Happy bloggyversary! It's been a great year for us too! Hope these beautiful yarns find a loving home soon ;-)

Happy blogiversary!

I love reading the interviews, and I love the yarn giveaways - I'm pickier about patterns than about yarn, so it's rare for me to be as enthusiastic about them.

That gorgeous red Madelinetosh is my favorite... can't believe someone didn't claim it! I love you blog... maybe more pictures of things you've made... love to see finished projects and how the yarn knits up.

I love reading your blog, and I love seeing all the different yarns. Especially love your Current cardigan, it has inspired me to make one.

As always, what a lovely giveaway!
I love your blog and I always love to see finished projects. I also enjoy reading about yarns and dyeing. So I'd say you are doing a wonderful job with your blog as it is ^^
I liked all of the giveaways so far but I didn't leave a comment when I didn't fancy the colour of the yarn so much. For example, why should I win a dark blue yarn when somebody else would be so much happier with the colour?

Nevertheless I liked the idea of the mystery giveaway, it's double excitement =)

Kind regards,

I loved the Skein giveaway. I enjoy hearing about and having the chance to win yarns I can't easily purchase or see and touch locally.

I can't think of anything I'd like to see on your blog. I love the giveaways (any chance to win yarn is awesome!) and the patterns you've found / are making.

I also joined your Rav group and follow this blog via GFC, but wasn't sure if that was supposed to be separate comments or not.

My favorite giveaways are the ones when a pattern and yarn to make the pattern are both provided. I love having the "whole package!" And congrats on two years! I have following along for nearly the entire time.
