black friday treat!

11.23.2012 at 12:10 PM

I have a special surprise for you today - a little extra treat between giveaways! I recently received a copy of the very talented Hannah Fettig's new pattern book with Quince & Co. yarns: Mabel's Closet. Hannah was inspired to design a small collection of baby knits for her little girl, Mabel, the super adorable and sweet baby modeling throughout the book!

mabelsclosetblog1

This book has the Hannah touch: simplicity, beautiful styling, and functionality. Plus, the entire collection is knit out of Quince & Co. yarns, which just happens to be one of my favorites. The colors that were chosen are a gorgeous blend of sophisticated pastels and just make the entire collection flow.

The Autumn Frock is my favorite!

Look at all the little baby clothes! Just makes my heart melt.

I'm passing this cute booklet onto you, my friends! One follower will win a printed copy of Mabel's Closet that is signed by Hannah. It comes in a charming fabric sleeve and you get a sweet little pin that has a picture of the delightful bunny character in the book.

But, wait! I'm going to throw in 4 skeins of Quince & Co. Lark yarn for you as well. (I'm kinda sounding like an infomercial now, huh?!) I have 4 lovely skeins of Lark leftover from the Knitcation swag bags and they are just perfect for this giveaway!

mabelsclosetblog6

It's enough yarn to knit one of the Autumn Frocks & Striped Hats that matches in the 0-6 month size. I love the brown and orange combo together too! It was all just meant to be!

Leave a comment telling us which of the patterns is your favorite on this blog post by the end of this weekend (Nov. 25th) and you'll be entered to win the booklet and yarn set. I'll announce the winner next week sometime, so be sure to check back.

Hugs & stitches!
