wool leaves

I glanced out my window in the midst of doing things around my home a few moments ago and saw the sun peeking through the clouds. What a sweet treat, and a great opportunity to snap some much needed pictures of FO's. I have a stack of at least 10 projects I haven't photographed yet, which means that they are sitting in pristine condition unused in my office waiting for their moment. Sad, I know… as the weather outside starts improving, I'm going to make a solid effort to get that stack photographed. Here's the blanket I snapped pics of today:

This blanket started out as a gift for a bff that was getting married, but I ran out of steam and time. So, the gift never made it's way into her hands. I'm actually sort of happy that it didn't, because now that it's finished, I love it! My daughter loves it too, so it has found a home on the back of her couch in her new bigger room. It's the perfect size for a lap blanket. I made mine bigger than the pattern - it turned out approximately 46" X 30". I loved working with Quince & Co.'s Puffin. The yarn was such a nice match for the pattern and I love the Frost colorway.
