be featured

If you are a yarn store, fiber company, designer, indie yarn artist, or you just want to be featured on my blog, here are a few ways this can be accomplished:

1) Host a weekly yarn giveaway and I will feature you for the entire week. If you are a yarn store, fiber company, pattern designer, or say an independant Etsy seller, I can blog about your company for that whole week's giveaway. You can even pick your own theme on what you would like the followers and commenters to rate or talk about for that week.

2) Purchase some ad space. Simple as that. I can put up a pretty little banner link on the right hand side of my blog for your company and we can decide on a reasonable payout for the space. Say, X amount of free yarn for X amount of business brought to your site. Yes, you can buy me with yarn!

3) Donate. Help me keep this blog free! Of course, yarn donations are always welcome as well!

If any of these options interest you or maybe you have another offer that you would like to make me, please feel free to contact me at yarnonthehouse@gmail.com.

Sincerely,

Veronika

I could donate a pattern. Do you need yarn too?
Thanks,
Heather.

Hi Veronika,

What a cool site! Who doesn't love free stuff?! I just discovered it via Three Irish Girls and
I would love to donate some of my patterns. When you have the time, please browse through my designs at either Ravelry or Etsy.

I am known for designing felted handbags but I have recently developed a HUGE crush on hand-painted SW yarns from indie dyers such as Yarntini, Three Irish Girls, Hazel knits, Christina Marie Potter, etc. As a result of this passionate love affair, I've started designing to showcase hand-paints in what I think are playful designs. My personal favorite is my large owl toy, aka NICE HOOTERS!

I mostly self publish but have been in Interweave Knits and several books.

My Ravelry ID is Pipp.
My Etsy shop is located at www.pippspurses.etsy.com
Flickr ID is pippspurses.

If you like what you see, you contact me via Etsy, Ravelry or at pippspurses@gmail.com

I love what you do here:)

I'm going to be coming out with a sock kit utilizing three kit-only hand painted sock yarns in July. I would love to give one of these kits away to one of your lucky followers. You can view my handpaints in my Etsy shop if you need to do that before we work out a deal:

I've also done a recent post at my own blog with a picture of the finished socks in one of the colorways if you would like to preview what the kit is supposed to knit into:

Please let me know if you will have some giveaway space available for me in July.

Thanks!
