Meet Leah aka Go Monkey Design...
And, Leah put together a little bio about herself. Check it out:
A bit about myself...I am many things, a wife of 11 years to my Matty. a mother to two amazing boys Gage 8 and Maxwell 5. I live in a very picturesque village in the Hudson valley of new york. My hubby and I own a vintage 5 and dime as well as my own creations of go-Monkey. I love things with texture.. Yarn, fabric, wool, dirt, food, anything. I could just touch and feel things all day. they amaze and inspire me in so many ways.. its a simple connection that I truly seek and enjoy.
I have never been professionally trained as an artist. My mom who is the most amazing seamstress has always been my support. She sewed every dance dress and skating outfit, I was always bedecked in style. Thanks MOM!! I do have a very fun sense that I call cut and paste. many (90%) of my line is created from scratch, meaning I have the idea in my head and I create from there. which in turns creates items where there are no two alike. they may be similar but each have there own personality. not cookie cutter, which keeps things fun for me. I enjoy the liberty of just playing and creating, new things and old. I feel very very lucky!
How did I end up in this business... Well I was pregnant with my eldest and decided I needed to knit a sweater. I went to my LYS and purchased a kit for a basket weave cardigan. mind you I had never knitted a day in my life. And you would think I'd pick something simple, a square blanket?? No not me. So I did knit the sweater and he wore it proudly, after that I was addicted to knitting as any knitter will tell ya. Also as any knitter will tell ya its really hard to find anything functional or cute enough to be even considered good enough to carry your essential needles about. So I started making some for myself and friends. And so go-Monkey was born...
Thank you, Leah, for the absolutely spectacular giveaway sponsorship! Take a look at the beautiful items she sent over for YOU!
Three lucky followers have the chance to win one of the three items above (chosen by me). I would like you to do the following if you would like to be entered into this week's giveaway:
1. Read over the rules if you have not done so already.
2. Leave a comment on this blog post by the end of Sunday, 6/21/10, telling us how you store your knitting gear? Do you have special organizers that you use?
I'll randomly pick the winners on Sunday and post the results on Monday along with the new giveaway, so be sure to check back. Good luck everyone.
One follower also has the chance of winning a copy of the updated children's Spring Garden Tee pattern that I talked about and a skein of Rowan Calmer in the same green color I knit the tee up in. I will randomly pick the winner of this portion of the giveaway from the comments left on this post as well.
Sincerely,
Ve

i could use a knitting organizer. i leave my needles in their original plastic wrapping and put them all in a bag.
I got my needles as sets from KnitPicks so they came in little cases and I just left them in those.
How do I store everything? Yikes. I shouldn't admit that in public. It's just a big, messy pile in the closet.
I HAD to leave a comment just because I have a cute boyfriend story to tell! :) I love making collages out of cool magazine clippings (enviro-friendly AND artistic--what could be more fun?), and I at one point decorated the waste basket in my bedroom completely in such fashion. Took me ages. Well, a few months later, my beau went on a vacation with his family that meant we wouldn't be together for our one year anniversary! I was miserable while he was gone, so he told me he was bringing me back presents to cheer me up! *yays* Among the momentos he returned with was another wastebasket that HE'D mod podged with postcards and photos from every place he went on the trip! AW! But I wasn't about to get rid of the one I'd also worked so hard on, so I use his as my WIP basket! All of my needles, patterns, notions, and spare balls of yarn get tossed in there to stay (jumbled but) safe. :)
Now, wasn't that adorable? This is the same guy who will spend an hour in our LYS just because it makes me happy! Hrmmm. Perhaps HE should win a prize, not me! Haha.
I store my KnitPicks in the small plastic container (with a zipper) they came in. I do have some "older" metall needles and they rest in an old (I don't know how old) blue plastic bag. Besides I store everything else (measuring tape etc.) in my knitting basket.
When at home, my needles are usually in their original packing (if I put them away). When I am out and about, I carry a Duluth Pack bag with my current project, but it is large and tends to collect many other things as well.
Those are lovely bags! Thanks for the introduction. How do I store my knitting tools? sigh. Mostly in ziploc bags, by type, with the needles in their - often falling-apart -original packaging. I did recently find a pretty good organizer for my circular needles, but need something nice for my dpn collection. Thanks for the chance to upgrade! And, by the way, love the tee!
Sadly, I jam everything into a one pocketed bag.... it's not pretty, it really really isn't.
I tend to be a bit neurotic about my knitting organization and keep every project in its own separate project bag. It keeps everything organized and allows me to indulge in my love of cute project bags!
No matter how hard I try to organize my knitting or my life I seem to fail at it! I Use plastic totes mostly - one for needles, a few for yarn by weight mostly, and binders for patterns. I still find things all over the houe - in the couch cushins, stitch markers in the car cup holders etc.
I am determined not to give up and will continue to try to organize myself!
Well, I have needle wrap for my straights and dpns, and use a plastic divided file folder with closure for my circs. When I'm on-the-go, I just carry my project in a tote with my own little "knit kit" in a small fabric container with zipper that a friend in Japan sent me. The goMonkey gear looks adorable!
While I am not the best housekeeper, I usually keep my knitting pretty organized. I have a large canvas storage box that I keep my active projects in. The rest of my stash is up in a cedar chest that my husband inherited.
I store my needles and my current knitting project (if it's something small like socks) in a long rectangular purse I bought at a thrift store. For the most part, the purse works well but I have gotten yarn stuck in the zipper and my needles don't really have a place of their own except in the packaging they came in.
I would love one of those adorable bags!
I wish I had better organization, my needles get stored in the knitpicks interchangeable case that they came in, and other then that projects are stored in plastic baggies. I wish I could get a few good project bags, but getting a whole set def adds up in the money department lol. I will slowly work on getting a good set when money allows :)
I keep all of my WIPs in ziplock bags. Then, when I'm going somewhere I pick what I want to work on and plunk it in my bigger bag that has a little notions bag inside, etc. Stash yarn is stored in cubbies. Unused needles are in a vase or plastic container. It's somewhat organized.
In my family room I have a cabinet that all my knitting stuff is shoved into. The needles are in the drawers in a jumbled mess! I need help.
You should see my mess! Ny needles aren't so messy, but my yarn and projects are in bags piled behind a chair! That little project bag would be great!
My knitting gear is stored in one of those collapsible baskets I inherited from my husband's grandmother when she died, although I plan on sewing a holder for my needles someday.
I keep my dpns in a tube, but my circulars are in a really bad state. And my yarn is in baskets or cardboard boxes- pretty extravagant, eh?
I store my yarn in ziplock bags with the pattern I intend to use for it. My needles are all separated into different labeled containers. My stitch markers are in their own bag. Current wips are in cute project bags for easy to grab on the go! Fiber is stored in ziplock bags and then into big tubs!:)
Oh my they are so beautiful!!!
I HAVE NO ORGANIZATION! LOL
I don't have any really good organization method, so this would be SO helpful! Right now my knitting supplies are kept in a large tupperware container under my coffee table. The needles and other tools are just kept in large zip-loc bags. Not very organized, right? :P
I have a bag that I tote current projects around in and basket full of yarn. I'm afraid my knitting could use some organizing!
Like many poor knitters, I store my projects in zip lock bags. I can easily see what I am looking for. I try to keep the bags that my needles come in so that I can store them in the original bag. Then my stash, pattern and needles are stored in a big tupperwear like box in my closet.
I have tons of Clinique makeup bags that are great for storing all of my notions.
I sadly have my dpns stored in a zipper bag with rubber bands holding them together :0( My circs are jumbled about in another bag :0( :0( My knitpicks are in the original functional pouch and I do have a couple of project bags but alas, i too have multiple post its stuck across my patterns to keep my spot! Help me organize Ve and Leah!! :0)
(jpeled on ravelry)
I am always looking for a better way to organize so I have lots of totes and baskets. My needles are in a tall circular box (I think for it is supposed to be a wine bottle gift box). My DPN's are wrapped with wraps and in a large mug the first graders gave me when I read with them.
I love the goMonkey circular needle holder.
My knitting is not organized and that freaks me out a little because I like order. What is it about yarn that makes it defy our efforts to control it?
I try. I have several tote bags and plastic boxes, but lots of things are just stuffed in bags here and there. :(
A few months ago I reorganized my craft area. The yarn in containers sorted by weight, patterns in file folders by type, and the needles are in their little plastic bags in a drawer. I still need to come up with something better for the needles and I ran out of file folders for the patterns and my yarn hath runneth over again lol.
Last fall I bought some pencil boxes in assorted sizes to hold my dpn, circulars, and notions. My larger straight needles are clumped together at the bottom of one of my knitting bags.
I store my knitting projects in ziplock bags and my needles in various organizers. Would love to win one of these! :)
I have my yarn in totes. I have separated it out by single skeins in one drawer, cotton yarn in another drawer, multiple skeins are in the other totes. My straight needles are in an fabric needle organizer with velcro strips to secure it. I am still looking for the perfect organizer for my circulars. My patterns are in plastic sleeves and in different 3-ring binders according to what type of pattern, baby items, shawls, scarfs, hats, etc. The binders are in a cabinet in my craft room. My totes are in the craft room with a knitting puzzle framed above them. I have an Altoid tin covered & decorated for my stitch markers in my knitting bag. I have a small zippered bag I keep all my other knitting notions in my knitting bag. I have been trying to organize some this year.
I always feel "accomplished" if all of my knitting stuff makes it back into my craft closet...and that rarely happens. Most of it is strewn around the house!! I REALLY need a better system!! Thanks for the awesome giveaway!!!
I could really use a knitting organizer. I leave my needles in their original packaging and store them all in a tote along with a lot of my leftover yarn. It's a bit of a mess.
I am in desperate need of some organization! I currently use a lovely selection of ziploc bags to keep all my treasures safe!
Thanks for another great giveaway! I love having my pretty needles and notions in pretty bags. All part of the joy of knitting!
I have some of my needles in a needle organizer and the stitch markers in an Adagio tea tin. LOL. I really need to get another needle organizer though!
I have my circular needles in a Della Q case, any my interchangables in the case they came in, but everything else is in a large ziploc bag. So pathetic!
However, on the go, my accessories (large tapestry needle, tape measure, stitch markers, etc.) live in an Altoids tin. Not very glamorous, but certainly useful!
I am a fan of GO-Monkey. I have a box bag, and two needle cases she did for me, but I can always use another one since I always have more than one project on the needles. Also, the Spring Garden Tee is adorable. I hope to have time to make Alana's adult version this summer. Thanks for the great give-aways.
Angie-Colorado
My DPNs are all in their original little baggies, as are my addi's and other "fixed" circs. My knit Picks needles are all in their little binder they came with (when it still came with a black binder) I labeled all the pockets with the size needles or the size cable.
i have several knitting bags with pockets galore-some are vera bradley, a couple are made, and i have a lexie barnes bag that is awesome. sometimes i just use a ziploc bag or a bag from a LYS-cause i like to show off the store logo. one thing i really need is a better system for my straight, dpns, and circulars. when not traveling about, i have a cabinet in my craft room where i store my needles and other supplies
I store my needles in a roll-up pouch that I made plus one I bought. Notions are kept in a miniature ditty bag and I store my projects in drawstring project bags or ziplock bags.
I keep my needles and hooks and assorted other supplies in a shoe box. Not very well organized or handy but at least all together!
Most needles (the Balenes) are in a coiled fabric basket, moved to various parts of the house depending on if I'm cleaning up or not. Many of the metal ones are in the organizers I bought when I bought them at a rummage sale; the others are in a glass jar somewhere in the landry room. The current projects are in the knitting project bags or my spinning bag somewhere on the floor in the living room. Not much organization, but I'm trying (?)...
My straights and DPNs are in a glass vase on a bookshelf. And I have a metal box that I keep stitch markers and chibi needles in that I carry around in a tote bag with my knitting project.
i store my needles in a nice little pouch, but that is not really organizing... it's a mess in there
;0
I store my yarn in large plastic bins in my studio and my needles are in a special pouch, i could use a better system for the needles but it works for now.
I do try to organize my knitting gear. Gonna get a needle organizer one of these days, but for now, my straight needles are in an old oatmeal container that has been covered in pretty paper. My circs are in a drawer in a chest that i keep all my yarn in.
I have to say that each project is in its own ziplock (which is terrible, but does keep them clean and separate and in a hands-off place for kids)- they all nest in a big basket beside my bed which is where I do most of my knitting late into the night. I would love to have some more sightly form of organization for sure:)!
HAHAHA! I have projects stored every which way...some in B&N bags (those pretty floral ones with handles); some in baskets; some in Abercrombie bags (the ones with the hot guy one them). I try to keep my needles in a silk needle case. But they too are in the same bags...
I attempt to keep my needles all in a box or, if they're long, in a cylinder container. My yarn is (mostly) all in a big rubbermaid bin.
All of my knitting, both projects and notions are storred in reused Ziploc bags. Can never seem to find the funds to treat myself to all the cute holders out there.
I store my knitting gear in a giant shoebox that held a pair of my husband's giant shoes. Not pretty---I might need to decorate it.
I recently got a Clover Alligator shaped notions case which helps me not lose stuff when I carry my projects around but I wont hold my needles. I
I have a different case for each type (my favorite being my della-Q for the interchangeable set) all in a larger bag. It is very well organized, but I have to organize every month or so because I usually just throw everything in and yank stuff out as I go. The set up is good, my intentions are great. It is just my execution that is a little off...
I am dying for a knitting organizer!! I started back knitting a little over a year ago and have accumulated quite a stock of needles. I desperately need a way to organize them! Help!
I store my yarn in a beautiful wooden chest we have in our living room... so choosing the yarn for my next project is like choosing from treasures in a chest!! In there I also store my metal needles which are all sorted and kept in a leather needle organizer that my mum sent me from Chile.
But what I don't have is a project bag... I usually carry my knitting in a plastic bag, so I really, really, really NEED a project bag!
I love the fabric the bag is made out of! I would Love that.
I am so lame...I use plastic bags for my projects. Yes, you know what I'm talking about: the ones normal people use for food. And my needles are in a plastic shoe box and my knitting "tools" are in a kids' plastic pencil box. Obviously, I could really use something a little fancier.
Mostly I use ziplock bags. I do have a Crown Royal whiskey bag that I use for projects and at my daughters ball games people ask for some of what is in my bag!
All of my knitting supplies live in big containers that sit under the couch -- what a mess! I could really use some organization.
I have 2 needle rolls I made myself and several other pouches that I use for various things. It all depends on my mood really ;)
I have two plastic 3-drawer sets, with separate sections for each yarn weight and spinning fiber. I also have several different project bags laying around, depending on my mood/project.
I just keep my straight needles in holders or jars on a shelf, my circulars in original wrapping and my interchangeables, of course, in the case that came with them. Every thing else (scissors, stitch markers, cable needles, tapestry needles, measuring tape, and crochet hooks) fits in a little pouch I picked up at Gap that has some smaller pockets on the sides to help divide everything. Most of the time I can just grab this and I'll have whatever I might need. Oh and I keep notes on my iphone about my place in the pattern or mods I may have made.
i picked up the harmony needles when they came out back when, and have used the plastic storage bag they came in with all goodies for knitting needs. Of course it has started falling apart now and i have been thinking about looking for a new holder/home for them.
congrats Jen!
I store my knitting and crochet supplies and one project in an old diaper bag. It has tons of pockets and space to store all my gear. And it's stylish too.
I keep my straight needles in 2 ceramic sheep vases (very cute!), the circs go in a plastic box, and my everyday supplies like measuring tape/Chibi/stitch markers go in a pink polka dot makeup bag. Those Clinique bonus bags really do come in handy!
I keep my knitting things organized through boxes. One box per project, and a larger garment box for everything else.
For the tools I carry with me I use a small leather pouch that my grandfather used to store his pipe supplies. It always reminds me of him when I use it.
A lot of my needles are inherited from my grandmother, and they arrived in this very long "pencil" box, made specifically for needles. Even has a ruler on the side. My DPNs I keep on my desk in a glass from POM (pomegranate) teas. My yarns.. all over. I HAVE a nice vintage expandable box thingy that would store them, if they ever made it there. My WIP is in whatever bag was handy.
Let's see, I store my collection of needles on a peg boeard hanging in my "office" (very tiny bedroom we have that is unused). My WIP is in a lovely hand-me-down Vera Bradley bag. I also have a couple of random baskets with yarn, hooks and needles in my living room for guests who like to knit or crochet.
renewedmind on Ravelry
my needles are in the small binder type case from KP. there is never enough room though to hold them all. other notions are usually just on the table by where i knit. or on the floor where they fell...
ugh! my storage system is less than ideal... mostly, i have a plastic bin thing that my needles are in... but my circs are all over the place. it's not pretty... I love these organizational tools!
I have a few ways to store my knitting gear. I have an awesome needle wrap from Della Q, and another needle case for straight needles. I have a big knitting bag that I use for most things, and a small project bag I use for whatever I'm currently working on. I also have a small pencil case that I use for miscellaneous small items like point protectors and crochet hooks.
I only use circular needles and they are hung, to keep them as straight as possible. I have several little boxes of stitch markers and such so I can put one in each knitting project bag.
My knitting needles are in plastic bags - my other knitting notions are in a small fabric bag...
I could use some really organizing items...
I have various sizes and shapes of travel cases from Eagle Creek (for cosmetics, toiletries, socks, undies) for yarn and project storage, a Mackinac Moon Open Top Craft Tote for all sorts of supplies, and numerous zip lock bags. Fixed circular needles are in the longer of the travel cases, in the original wrappers so I can easily identify the size and cable length, interchangeables in it's plastic pouch, DPNs in a drawstring bag (the latter isn't really working out for me). All of this is in an ottoman, a drawer under my bed, and a few boxes in my linen closet.
I am currently sewing together a a needle case...I'm excited to see it finished. :) otherwise my needles are stored in the knitpicks case that came with the options needles. :) and does having multiple sips count as storing needles? Lol
It's all over the place!!! With the exception of my very neat Denise Needle set, I'm in desperate need of one of those cute organizer bags for all my other bits and pieces.
I keep my circular needles in a zip lock bag, my straight needles in a vase and everything else....well, its a bit of a mess!
My knitting things are currently a mess - an organiser would be great - still on the look out for the perfect cicular starage solution. I have just becom a folower - off to check out your blog.
oh what a fun giveaway. ty Ve and Leah.
im still a newb knitter, and i have my yarn and needles stored in a big bag. im hoping to move everything to tubs soon, but i need to get more yarn to justify that. haha. oh darn. lol. i'm hoping to get more needles to organize as well.
Good luck everyone on the giveaway, and have a great week!
I sore my knitting goodies in all kinds of ways. Needles in jars, notions in tins and yarn in an antique cabinet. I'm always on the lookout for beautiful ways to store it all and the goodies you have are stunning. What a beautiful blog. It's my first time here.
I love totes! My family jokes that Mom will buy anything if she can get a tote with it. I also like to shop on Etsy for great handmade storage options.
I love all things that store knitting supplies and yarn. Each of my knitting bags have projects in them waiting their turn.
I have two Namaste buddy cases, a mint tin, and a small cloth bag for my supplies.
I have several different organizers that are all piled into a big rectangular basket. My DPN holder and a sock project bag are from etsy seller Katie Fleck Designs. My circular needle holder is from Lexy Barnes and my KP Options are in a brand-new made-just-for-me holder from my sister-in-law (a knitter and sewer with great taste!). So, the patterns don't match but, then, nothing else in my life does either so that is fine by me!
I just saw the photos of your daughter on the NNK blog - she is a natural model!
I use a basket for my knitting projects, a pretty vase for my needles, and a box with dividers for miscelaneous knitting items. I also use the shoe closet hanger to keep my yarns nicely organized and on display.
I keep my dpn in a fabric roll that I made. Some straights & circulars occupy another roll, but the rest just float around in various projects. My yarn is a bit wild...it has a mind of it's own. Same w/spinning fiber, it just creeps all over the place.
My knitting notions go in a small plastic container with a lid and latch, very handy for traveling.
Right now I am in between Fiber Festivals so my room is a shocking jumble of merchandise and business related stuff. But I do long to be more organized, sometimes it's just difficult knowing where to put it all!
I would LOOOOVe to win the hanging needle organizer, but I would be happy with a box bag as well :)
I currently have all of my circular needles in a small zip lock bag, so it takes me a while to find a needle size I need.
Thanks for this fun giveaway :)

(Iknitcupcakes- Ravelry name)
I really try to keep organized but my things tend to run off! My organization system isn't very sophisticated either, mostly ziplock bags and baskets.
I got to say, I can't believe you have had so many winner that are MIA. If I ever win, you'll hear from me right away! :)
Lately, I've been storing my needles in one of those over the door hanging shoe holders because I'm able to put all of one size in each pocket, but it's not so great for going out and about. These needle organizers would be perfect for carrying around!
I am currently swiping some of the cute small bags that my 6 yr old has accumulated - she'll probably get them back if I get organized enough to buy my own - or I win some ( hint, hint)
I put my projects in plastic bags or totes if they are empty, my knitting needles in their original plastic sleeves (or whatever they are called) or in a needle holder though the thinnest needles slip through the material and my crochet hooks are in a tin pencil case.
I use the black diaper bag I got free from the hospital when one of my kids was born. It has the big main zipper pocket for yarn and a work (or two) in progress, a stretchy pocket on either end for hand cream, mints, or tape measures. Then I keep a note book and patterns in one outer side pocket. The front has a button flap covering several little zippy pockets and a tall narrow pocket where I keep the needles, crochet hooks, stitch markers, scissors, etc. all organized!
I store my Knit Picks Options needles in the pouch they came with. Projects are usually kept in random bags, baskets, and even ziplocs. Nothing nearly as cute and the go Monkey stuff!!
jendada on Ravelry
for my notions and smaller needles, I carry a little pencil case in my bag. As far as carrying my projects, I just use ziplocs. But the needles I am not currently using are in random places in the house..ha! I've been searching for cute organizers so I will head over to go monkey and take a peek!
k-knits on ravelry
Oooh, those ARE lovely items! I thought I had a good system until my stash got out of control. (It kind of overflows the racks it's sitting on...and onto the guest bed.)
very fun things. i lack organization, i could really use a way to organize my needles, other than the ziploc plastic bag system i currently employ. for my ohter items i use a cosmetic zipper case my mom got on one of those promos they do.
teri
I have them strewn everywhere, I try to keep them in a toolbox, but that doesn't work so well...
This blog rocks and I love the new podcast! Awesome Knitting stuff.
I should organize my "gear" ;) It's all kinda mashed into a center pocket in my knitting bag, the only things with a special spot are the stitch markers and darning needles in the attached "change purse" of my purse turned knitting bag!
Not well - in a nylon messenger bag, in a basket on the floor, in ziplocks in the freezer, to name a few...
Well, I got Knitpicks interchangeable needles, but the case they came in is not very helpful - the needles keep falling out of it. My circulars and double points I keep in an Artbin, which has slots and pockets for different "goodies", but it's not well organized. TOTALLY SOUNDS LIKE I NEED A NEW ONE, RIGHT? I hope one is coming my way!
I store my knitting tools in two gallon size zip locks. One has all my needles and one has all my other stuff. Then they go into a tote bag for traveling. Not very pretty I know!
dgporterhouse at cox dot net
I keep small notions in a little tin box that looks like an Altoids box, but says Nerds on it. Straight needles (that I rarely use) are kept in a tin that a bottle of Tanqueray came in and stitch markers kind of roam around my purse. I've got a bunch of buttons and ribbon and all manner of things lying around on the Knitting book shelves though.
My friend has a go-monkey bag and I absolutely love it. It's real quality stuff!
My needles are stored in their original packaging, and other items are in a clear zippered pouch. All are kept in a tote I received with my first purchase from a LYS about a year ago. I think I could use something a bit cuter and better organized.
I have some Namaste "oh snap" bags that I store my needles, scissors, stitch markers, and other small things in. I have a Namaste Malibu handbag which holds lots of knitting and purse things. I have 5 big plastic bins where I store yarn.

I store my knitting gear in a large cloth bag. It's not particularly organized!
i need some storage! i have several bags that hold my current projects. i have put my needles in a decorative cardboard box intended to hold a wine bottle. a mess!
No special organizing equipment really... I'm semi-embarrassed to admit that it's kind of in a pile in my closet! (SarahVV on Rav)
I store knitting gear in a cardboard box. Not very attractive. I should find something better!
My DH would say I need help organizing, but I know where all my knitting supplies are. I use recycle, and reuse buckets, cans, and bags to store my things.
I don't store them any special way, except for the ones I'm not using, which are in a large floral bag in an organizer that is suede.
The way I store my most used needles is right by the couch, irritating all who want to use the table, etc. But it's my house, too, and I like to have them accessible!
Maybe a beautiful floral rectangular bag from Go Monkey Design would be just the right thing!
I have a roll-up sleeve for my regular needles. For my dpn's and circ's I keep them in their original bags, then I have those in seperate pencil pouches. I keep all these along with my other notions in a plastic storage bin.
So cute bags!!!
I use a Nantucket bag (in purple!) to haul my stuff around but I have a hodge-podge of smaller things -- mint tins, etc. to corral all the small bits and bobs. I use mostly circular needles and they live in their plastic bags. I could certainly use a better way to store needles.
I store my knitting gear on a shelf in my closet, but I'm quickly running out of room!
I loveeeee that pink bag! I store all of my yarn, needls and hooks on the top shelf of my closet! I have all my yarn in one huge bag and everything else in random other bags! Love the Blog!
I store my knitting gear in a large basket, but I need something smaller that I can carry around with me (just for my current project).
POSTING FOR THIS GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED. Thank you everyone for posting! -Ve
This is a really cool site, and motivates me to get more organized with my knitting
