blogiversary and giveaway #103

The SEVEN winners of the Knitcation swag giveaway are:

ne-knopka, dclulu on ravelry, cindymen, Kevin, mom of 2 boys, LuisaM, & eleanor@knittinginflipflops

Congratulations! Please contact me at yarnonthehouse@gmail.com to collect your prizes.

Another year gone by in the blink of an eye! February 1st will mark my blog's 3 year birthday. Happy b-day YOTH! It's been a fun ride and I have so much planned for you this year... another fabulous Knitcation is being planned as I write this, a new look for the YOTH blog will soon make an appearance, behind the scene secrets are being schemed (can't wait to share!), and lots of great sponsors are organizing with me to bring you some the best giveaways we have had yet! 2013 is going to be a wonderful year for YOTH, I can just feel it!

As usual, I have some left over lovely unclaimed skeins of yarn that somehow fell through the cracks and didn't go to happy knitting homes. So, like I do every year during the blogiversary, I offer those back up for grabs to you!

blogiversary2013

Let's see, there's 4 beautiful skeins... why don't we have two winners who will each receive two skeins (chosen by me) from the bunch. Easy as that! You can also wish YOTH a Happy Birthday by telling your knitting friends about YarnOnTheHouse.com, following me on Twitter, or joining our Ravelry group. I've also recently become an Instagram addict! Or, there's Pinterest too! Let's not talk about how much time I spend pinning things related to knitting!

I would like you to do the following if you would like to be entered into this week's giveaway:

1. Read over the rules if you have not done so already.

2. Leave a comment on this blog post by the end of Sunday, 2/11/13. Is there something that you'd like to see on YOTH that I haven't done yet? What's your favorite part of visiting this blog? Or, what would you like to see more of?

I'll randomly pick the winners in 2 weeks and post the results along with the new giveaway, so be sure to check back. Good luck everyone.

Sincerely,

Ve

My favorite part is seeing the designer's pattern collections reviewed. Even though I browse through patterns (alot!) it is really helpful to see their perspective from the point of view of a collection instead of individual garments. The second is the yarns. You show us yarn that I don't get to see and it opens up possibilities for me. The giveaways are fun to watch, maybe one day I'll win one, but even if I don't - I still have hope!

But fabulous blog and wonderful giveaways. Thank you for your wonderful generousity!!!

I find it hard to believe that anyone passes on free yarn! I had the chance to meet Rose of Cakewalk when I was in my hometown this summer; she was super nice and I would have bought out her booth if I could afford it!
