you heard me right, THREE!

Let's start with the winner of the extra Black Friday giveaway of Mabel's Closet and some Quince & Co. yarn I did last week, and the winner is...

Donna B.

Congratulations! Please contact me at yarnonthehouse@gmail.com to collect your prizes.

One of my knitting resolutions last New Year's was to photograph and update my Rav projects page on a regular basis. This has not been a total fail, but I seem to be knitting faster than I'm photographing and sharing! Oh well! Knitting is supposed to be fun, right?! With that being said, I have three recent projects I want to share with you today. Yes, you heard me right, one-two-THREE!

First up...

RoseHarbourblog9

RoseHarbourblog2

RoseHarbourblog5

Pattern: Rose Harbour Shawl
Designer: Judy Marples
Yarn: Sweet Fiber Cashmerino Sock & Super Sweet Sock
Colorways: Teal & Amber Briolette
My Rav project page here
Modeled by: Jasmine

As soon as Judy published this pattern, I fell in love with it. It's got all the makings of a lace shawl that I love: circular shaping, beautiful lace pattern, two colors, and a unique picot edging. Judy was sweet enough to send me a gift pattern copy when I commented on her blog that I loved the new design (thank you so much). And, the yarn was also a gift from Sweet Fiber Yarns and a perfect match for this pattern, in my opinion. So, so pretty, don't ya think?!

HikerChickBlog6

HikerChickBlog3

HikerChickBlog4

Pattern: Hiker Chick
Designer: Keya Kuhn
Yarn: Zibeline Knits rocket sock
Colorway: Copper Kettle
My Rav project page here
Modeled by: Jasmine

This sock pattern was a gift that Keya sent over for me to knit and review back during giveaway #92. I enjoyed knitting these socks so much that it's got me casting on socks more frequently now. Jasmine really loved the way the yarn ending up striping, so of course I couldn't say no when she asked to have them. By the way, the girl's got almost the same size foot as me already! Stop growing, child! You're making me feel old!

CloudIllusionsblog8

CloudIllusionsblog2

CloudIllusionsblog6

Pattern: Cloud Illusions
Designer: Boo Knits
Yarn: Madelinetosh Tosh Merino Light
Colorway: Antler
My Rav project page here
Modeled by: Jasmine

This one was not a gift, but a beautiful pattern nonetheless. Boo Knits is a designer that I follow, because her shawls are so amazing! It was a pattern that I definitely needed to pay attention to while knitting, because of the intricate lace details, but thoroughly enjoyable. She has a variety of YO's listed that she recommends you use depending on whether the YO is followed and preceded by a knit or purl stitch. I highly recommend this pattern if you are a lover of lace knitting, but not if you want to check out (mentally) while stitching away.

I hope you enjoyed my three shared projects. Let's just hope that I can get more pics of the dozens of knits I have waiting to be photographed still! Happy knitting, my friends!
